It's usually dark in the room, with the only light coming from the monitor. The only sound is the clicking of the keyboard.
Of course, he loves lying on the stacks of magazines, notebooks, etc. on the desk.I think his very favorite spot is on top of the monitor. It's an older model, not a flat screen, so there's just enough room for him to perch, and its always nice and warm. Unfortunately, he sometimes falls asleep up there, and slides off. He's a very sound sleeper and doesn't always wake up until he hits the desk. Ouch! I'm really afraid he's going to hurt himself, so I try to keep him out when I'm not in the room.
I only wish I could sleep as soundly, but I guess that's why I'm up late at night, working on the computer.

Awwww! What a cutie! I miss having a cat. Hubby is allergic.
So sweet. My cat loves to be on the desk in my home office, but unfortunately she insists on sitting between me and the computer and blocks the screen. I think it's her way of telling me it's time to quit working and pay her some attention!
so sweet! i wish my cat would just take naps when i'm working- her is only 3 so still has a lots of energy, so will walk across my keyborad about a bazillion times to get my unfocused attention.
Karen & M21 - Mitz does walk across the keyboard for a bit, then he'll settle down and sit and stare very intently at me until he starts nodding off, and then he lays down.
Kitties are great, aren't they?

Isn't it nice to have such a devoted companion? My cat, Paws, like to sleep on the back of my recliner as I use my laptop. He puts his paws on my shoulders and curls his tail around my neck. His picture is featured on my blog.
